A Letter from Kenya

May God bless the occasion. As a church of Gloryland   thank God so much for have knowing Pastor Steve. He has been a blessing to our church and the people of Kenya at large. Through him we have known wonderful people like Roy  and Chris Hayward. The love of entire family members of Southern Cross Evangelical Church is evident and their prayer and continual support is felt among the people of Kenyanot forgetting the love of Lorrainethe wife of Pastor Seve.

A number of things have been achieved as a result of knowing the bretheren of S.C.E.C

 
1. LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME.

The first group graduated last year 2009, 8th August,  with over 40 leaders, after one year of systematic biblical training took place. Many leaders were equipped, trained, mobilized and challenged for effective work of ministry and more people are yearning to learn more and more this has been through the love and sacrifice of  Pastor Steve and the team

2. SUPPORT OF OUR SCHOOL

The school to the needy families through the love of and Roy, Chris and Lorraine God has blessed our school even including  getting electricity and water also getting some support to the teachers this has been true and real help to our people.

3.YOUTH  WORK IN THE COMMUNITY

Through the help of the team members our youth has  really grown and also the public schools around us have continued to be blessed through ministry of the team for last visits this has really strengthened our relationship with these schools and we do continue to visit them weekly and share Gods word

4. CHURCH GROWTH.

The growth of our local church and the church in the village through  sound teaching. People have continued to grow rapidly both spiritually and even the number added.

We don’t have many words to express our thanks, but we want say thank you people of Southern Cross Evangelical Church for allowing Pastor Steve to come to us your support is not in vain may God bless you as you celebrate the 8th anniversary
